Hi, I’m Amy Lynn

I am committed to helping women get crystal clear on who they are. Releasing any pressure to over identify with a status, title or label and reclaim an unshakeable sense of self.

I am passionate about guiding women towards trusting themselves and empowering them to address years of silencing their voice.  I support women who are ready to show up fully and authentically themselves, in every area of their life.  No more wearing masks for whatever role she needs to play on any given day.

I will guide you to get clear on your needs, wants and desires while filtering out distracting messages, societal pressures, obligations and ‘shoulds’. With a clear sense of self you will move forward in life with intention, confidence and ease while creating impact in everything you do.

Does this sound vaguely familiar?

For years I did what I thought I should. You may be familiar with the path I was on – go to school, get a job, get married, buy a house/vehicle, have a family, etc etc.  For every box I checked, or attempted to, I was left wanting more or just, different. Nothing felt right, but when I questioned it I was met with messages to stay the course.

There were times throughout my 20’s and 30’s when I knew I shouldn’t be in a particular relationship or stay in a certain job, yet I did because I felt pressure and expectation to do so. Through this period I smiled and silently nodded while people told me I had to put down roots, have kids, freeze my eggs, advance my career and get a mortgage (insert your pressure point here). The pressure to meet all these milestones was overwhelming and I wasn’t even sure which of those things I wanted.

In the meantime, I would secretly try new things.  There were singing and dance lessons, creative writing and photography classes.  Going on meditation and spiritual retreats while telling others I was going to the spa.  I didn’t know what was meant for me, but I wasn’t ready to settle. So I searched until I found things that lit a little spark in me and filled the void.

If only I knew now what I know then.  Have you ever said that to yourself? Reality is there is no way to know how it would have turned out, so frankly there’s no sense trying to figure it out.  The truth is, my path was the one I was supposed to be on. The details are unique to me, but the feelings, emotions, frustrations and the lessons are similar to those of many.

The simple truth

Somewhere along the line I had lost clarity of who I was and wanted to be.  I gave into the pressures and allowed my voice to go silent.  I got lost in the ‘shoulds’.

Wisdom now tells me the best thing I could have done for myself was PAUSE.  Not push for the next goal or box to check.  To allow time for acknowledging achievements, grieving losses and accepting failures all while being present in the phase of life I was in. Time to reconnect to my truth before moving forward. Enjoy the moment and not worry so much about what was to come. Hindsight.

It’s never too late

What is similar in all our stories is the feeling of being disconnected from self, feeling stuck, tired or complacent.  Wanting more but not sure where to find it or even where to begin. Feeling like you are ungrateful for what you have because you want your life to be more. Not from a material possessions perspective, but fulfillment. It’s not the stage of life or specific situation, it’s the feeling, the longing.

That is where I come in. I help you gain clarity, reclaim your sense of self and have the impact you want in, and on your life.

My style of coaching is simple really - I help get you started. Reconnecting and building a strong self-awareness, embodied confidence and preparedness for moving forward. We get to the root of what is causing the frustration and longing, then slowly integrate new ways of being prior to making any life changing moves.

The good news is that you aren’t starting from scratch, simply a new place along your personal life journey. All those years are pieces in the magnificent puzzle of who you are.

If I had paused long enough, listened to my inner voice and drowned out the voices telling me to stay the course, I may have gotten here sooner. Allowing me to be your guide will save you years and endless searching.

The secret sauce

I don’t believe in 3, 5 or even 10 step methods to the next best you. Let’s be honest they don’t work. You may have tried a few of these already. I know I certainly have.

What I do know is that getting clear on what has shaped you and your current situation, taking responsibility for yourself and becoming accountable for the change you want to create is the way to what comes next. This doesn’t happen overnight. You must first choose you. Give yourself time, compassion and grace.

My wish for every woman I work with is simple – drown out the noise and reclaim your sense of self.  Allow who you are to influence how you show up in the world.  Soften into the heart of who you are and take up space. The world needs more of you.

Before Realign With Self

I spent 20 years in the Media Industry selling ad space to advertisers.  While I had a ton of fun and was compensated well, I couldn’t see myself doing that job into retirement age.

The two skills I took away from all those years and experiences are listening & curiosity.  They were key to building strong relationships with clients and being able to anticipate their needs.

This has seamlessly translated into holding space for the women I work with today.  Listening with the intention of hearing and understanding, not responding, creates the safe space for them to do the work they allow me to guide them through. Remaining curious and not trying to solve problems creates space for them to find the answers already hidden within themselves.

Towards the end of my Media career I started the journey to becoming a Certified Professional Co-active Coach.  Since then I have continued learning and developing skills to bring them into the work I do with clients based on their individual needs. My tool box includes Aromatherapy, Reiki, Human Design, Nervous system regulation, Restorative Yoga and Akashic Records and continues to grow.

Most importantly, I’ve created the space for myself to look at what has shaped my life. In confronting unexpressed emotions, fears and pain points, I’ve strengthened my ability to be present and grounded in the work that I do.

A bold mission to heal hearts

In a world that prioritizes productivity, possessions, wealth and power over feelings and connections, it’s no surprise we have become protective of our hearts and disconnected from our emotions.  By creating space for women to slow down, strengthen self-awareness and learn self-compassion, they can begin to lead inspired lives. When hearts soften, greater connections are made in all areas of life.
